VitaLedger is built so your financial recordkeeping stays under your control. It does not connect to your bank or brokerage, does not sell your financial information, and does not require a separate VitaLedger account.
VitaLedger never asks for online banking or brokerage login credentials. Balances, transactions, stock lots, and cash holdings are entered and maintained by you, not retrieved through an account connection.
Income, expenses, budgets, savings goals, recurring expenses, stock lots, current prices, and cash-holding details are stored locally on your device using Apple-provided storage.
You may enable optional device authentication for an added layer of protection over investment information. Biometric data is handled entirely by iOS and is never seen or stored by Longoria Apps.
Cost basis, unrealized gains or losses, projected interest, and maturity values are calculated locally from the information you provide. These figures are estimates for personal planning, not official financial-institution records.
When you import a supported CSV file of stock lots, the file is read on your device to populate your records. VitaLedger does not transmit imported files to a Longoria Apps server.
VitaLedger supports Spanish localization for its interface. Enabling a language does not change how your financial records are stored or shared.
When you export, copy, print, or share a report, transaction list, or investment summary, the destination app, service, or person may receive that information. Review exported material before sharing it.
Records remain in VitaLedger until you delete them. Deleting the app may not automatically remove information retained in device backups, exported files, or copies you previously shared.
VitaLedger relies on Apple technologies for on-device storage and optional biometric authentication. Apple handles that functionality under its own terms and privacy policies.
VitaLedger is not directed to children and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through a Longoria Apps account or advertising system.
VitaLedger is intended for personal organization, planning, and recordkeeping. Investment, interest, gain/loss, and tax-related figures should be confirmed against official records or with a qualified professional.
