Confirm Location Services are enabled for Anemos and that the app has the required location permission. Anemos filters stale or low-quality GPS samples, so distance can remain unchanged until a usable location is available.
During an active ride, Anemos is configured to continue location tracking while the iPhone is locked or the app is backgrounded.
Anemos checkpoints an active ride locally. After an interruption or relaunch, choose Resume Ride, Recover & Save Recorded Portion, or Discard Unfinished Ride.
If local persistence fails, Anemos keeps the ride checkpoint and does not claim the ride was safely saved. Use Retry Save to retry the same ride. Keep for Recovery returns it to the unfinished-ride workflow.
Verify that Anemos has permission to write the requested Health data. Depending on granted permissions and available data, Anemos may write a cycling workout, cycling distance, estimated active energy, and a workout route.
If body mass is unavailable or access is not granted, Anemos can still save the ride without the calorie estimate.
Deleting a local Anemos ride does not automatically delete the corresponding Apple Health workout. Manage that copy separately in Health.
Weather depends on a usable location and access to Apple WeatherKit. A weather failure does not prevent the core ride from continuing. Retry when network/location conditions improve.
Keep the Watch paired and nearby. Current ride state can be delayed when devices are disconnected. Incident information can queue on the Watch and transfer later when the iPhone becomes available.
On supported Apple Watch hardware and with permission, Anemos can receive Apple’s resolved Fall Detection event during an active ride and associate ride context with that event.
If you denied a permission earlier, use the appropriate iPhone or Apple Watch Settings screen to review access. Core ride recording depends on Location; Apple Health export and Watch Fall Detection depend on their respective permissions.
History inclusion settings such as 30, 60, or 365 days control what is shown. They do not automatically delete older ride records.
Anemos is not a turn-by-turn navigation system, does not provide official/legal posted speed limits, is not a medical device, and is not a complete emergency-monitoring service. Always follow posted signs, local laws, road conditions, and safe riding practices.
